A legend hangs up his boots.Today we celebrate Kevin Smart, a true pillar of the Hoppers Crossing Soccer Club, as he steps into a well-deserved retirement.It is impossible to measure Kev’s impact on HCSC in just a few words. He has quite literally done it all for our club:On the Pitch: One of the most capped players in HCSC history and arguably our all-time leading assist provider. If there was a goal scored, odds are Kev created it.On the Sidelines: A devoted leader who has guided generations of players as a Junior Coach, Senior Coach, and Assistant Coach.Behind the Scenes: Keeping the club running smoothly off the field through his dedicated service as Club Secretary.In the Community: Alongside his wife Jess, Kev pioneered our All Abilities program. ensuring that soccer at Hoppers Crossing is a game for everyone.One Last Run OutCome down and pack the stands to give Kev the send-off he deserves.
