Playing away against Altona Magic game finished 2-2 very dissapointing that the referee can be so bias and not let the game be played without his interference. Well done to Ethan for 2 indivdual goals. Goals were disallowed, game cut short, not the best way for kids to enjoy their game. Well done to Bailey for his great save. Best players Ethan, Rory, Samuel, Eric, Marcus & Liam.

Hoppers peppered the goals throughout the game and in the end, were unlucky not to score.

Result: Hoppers Kangas 3 - Sunshine Heights 0

Strong winds controlled the start of the game, but after 15minutes Ethan was able to lay the ball of to Marcus who finished superbly for his first goal of the season. Hoppers were in full control and were unlucky not to be further ahead, although goalkeeper Bailey was forced to make some great saves.

Hoppers got off to a slow start in the second half, but Ethan was able to grab a deserved goal to increase the lead to two. Ethan was growing in confidence and scored a cheeky backheel to grab his second goal and Hoppers' third of the match. The defense, as well as Bailey in goals did well to limit the opportunities for Sunshine Heights and ensure a clean sheet. This was the boys third win in a row.

Goalscorers were Ethan (3 goals), Liam (2 goals) and an own goal.

Hoppers completely dominated the game and were unlucky not to win by more. The best players on the day were Marcus and Ethan. Overall, the whole team put in a great performance.

Game against Baccus Marsh was postponed until June 13th.

Goal scorers were Ethan (2 goals); Samuel, Marcus, Liam and Lukas (1 goal each).

Best player of the day was Lukas, who completely controlled the middle of the park. Overall all players put in a great effort.

2^nd half started with Hoppers creating many chances without converting.

The final score was 1 – 1. Credit goes to all players as they all played well.

Our joeys team bounced back from their thrashing the week before to trounce Altona East 5-1 this week.

Congratulations joeys, keep it going.

Kangaroos

Werribee got  the first break midway through the first half due to a basic defensive error where the ball was kicked across our defensive backline. Werribee intercepted and scored from the error.

Hoppers Crossing finally got the equaliser they deserved in the 15 minute mark of the 2^nd half with Rory swinging in a lethal corner that was tapped in by Ethan. Again due to a basic defensive error and lack of tight marking Werribee scored their 2^nd goal with under 5 minutes left in the game.

First up game as a squad found the boys to be overawed by the occassion and out played by a far better side. It is a short learning curve for all players at a young age and the improvements will come to the players well done keep up the hard work.

Kangaroos

Again the first up challenge was Green Gully known for there quality teams and great endevours. The boys were also nervous and found the days pressure of the game daunting, the score although a loss  might be hard for the boys to take in. i would like to say well done to Tommy, Marcus, Rory & Ethan keep battling and heads up.  The coach.
